Simple care keeps good things in play.
A little regular care helps keep your Riababy pieces safe, comfortable and ready for everyday play.
General safety
- Use each product only for its intended purpose.
- Follow the recommended age guidance and weight limits shown on the product page，packaging or supplied instructions.
- Adult supervision is required where stated and is recommended whenever young children are playing.
- Assemble products carefully and check that all fixings are secure before use.
- Check products regularly for loose parts, damage or signs of wear.
- Stop using a product if any part is damaged or no longer secure.
- Keep all packaging materials, including plastic bags, wrapping and ties, away from children. Keep small assembly parts away from young children.
- Do not modify a product or use replacement parts that have not been approved for it.

Care for everyday play
Wooden toys and GoBox sets
Care
Wipe wooden pieces with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth, then dry immediately.
Keep wooden products away from prolonged moisture, direct heat and strong sunlight. Do not soak, place in a dishwasher or use abrasive cleaners.
For GoBox sets, return the smaller pieces to the case after play. It keeps everything together and makes the set easier to carry and store.
Safety
Check wooden pieces regularly for cracks, splinters, loose parts or damaged edges.
Follow the recommended age guidance shown on the product page and packaging, especially where small pieces are included.
Use GoBox extension sets only with compatible GoBox products. Check the product page before combining sets.
Climbing frames and active play products
Care
Wipe surfaces with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Keep the product away from prolonged damp conditions and direct heat. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners or oils unless specifically instructed.
Check screws, bolts, ropes, rungs, slides and connection points regularly. Tighten fixings when needed.
Safety
Use the product only on a stable, level surface with enough clear space around it.

Cubby houses and fabric play products
Care
Vacuum or gently brush loose dust and debris from fabric surfaces.
Spot clean fabric with a soft cloth, mild soap and water. Avoid bleach, solvents and abrasive cleaners.
Allow fabric to dry completely before folding, closing or storing the product.
Keep timber and fabric parts away from prolonged moisture, direct heat and strong sunlight.
Safety
Make sure the product is fully assembled and stable before play.
Keep heaters, candles and other heat sources well away from the product.
Check fabric, seams, fastenings and structural parts regularly. Stop use if anything becomes loose, torn or damaged.

Foam, ball pits and fabric covers
Care
Wipe removable covers with a soft cloth, mild soap and water, then allow them to air dry completely.
If the cover is machine washable, follow the care label and remove it from the foam before washing.
Do not soak, machine wash or tumble dry foam.
After unpacking vacuum-packed foam, allow time for it to return to its full shape before use.
Safety
Check covers, seams, zips and foam regularly for damage or excessive wear.
Make sure covers are fitted correctly before play and keep zips or fastenings secured as intended.

A few good habits
Cleaning products
Unless your product instructions say otherwise, start with a soft cloth, mild soap and water.
Avoid bleach, solvents, abrasive cleaners, strong fragrances and high heat. Always test any cleaning solution on a small, hidden area first.
Storage
Store products in a clean, dry and well-ventilated place.
Make sure fabric and foam are completely dry before packing them away.
Keep products away from heaters, fireplaces and other direct heat sources.
Avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, especially for timber, painted surfaces and fabrics.
Store loose parts and accessories together so they are easy to find before the next play.
