The Rainbow Friends are simple on purpose. Twelve smooth wooden peg dolls, each in a different colour, with no face or fixed character telling a child who they should be.
One day they are a family. The next they are teachers, passengers, shopkeepers or an entire tiny town. They are just as useful for colour sorting and counting as they are for making up stories.
